A Thoughtful Approach to Bookkeeping
My accounting career has given me the opportunity to work from several different perspectives. In public accounting, I spent more than three years working with nonprofit organizations, leading audits, preparing financial statements, supporting board reporting, and helping organizations strengthen their internal controls. I later moved into corporate accounting, where I was responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end reporting, and audit support. Most recently, I worked in transaction advisory, analyzing financial performance, working capital, and business risks for companies and investors. As a certified public accountant (CPA), these experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the financial information organizations rely on every day.
Today, I bring that perspective to my bookkeeping practice. I understand not only how financial records are created, but also how they are used by management teams, boards of directors, auditors, lenders, and investors. Whether I'm supporting a small business or a nonprofit organization, my goal is to provide reliable bookkeeping, responsive communication, and financial records that clients can depend on. I believe thoughtful bookkeeping creates a stronger foundation for decision-making, growth, and long-term success.
